Sessão 9 - Session 9 - 3/5/2023

These paintings were developed with a slightly different intention to the previous ones. Here the painting was no longer done as an act of meditation, but as an act of connecting with and expressing the emotions of the present. Here I didn't try to strip away the error, the ego, or even the emotional impulse, but rather just observe it, become aware of it and express it regardless of what kind of emotions I might be feeling, without judgement or trying to improve or correct myself.

It is my intention with these paintings to also value life as it is and its manifestations in being, whether they are judged as positive or negative.

Nestas sessões a pintura já não foi feita num ato de meditação de abstracção, mas num ato de conexão com as emoções do presente e a expressão das mesmas. Aqui não tentei despir-me do erro, do ego, ou mesmo do impulso emotivo, mas antes apenas observar-lo, criar consciência do mesmo expressar-lo independentemente do tipo de emoções que pudesse estar a sentir, sem julgamento ou a tentativa de me auto melhorar ou corrigir.

É a minha intenção estas pinturas também valorizar a vida, tal como ela é e as suas manifestações no ser quer elas sejam julgadas como positivas ou negativas.
